Matthias Palmérs interests

I love reading Science Fiction, especially modern Space Opera and technology intensive / idea rich novels such as those written by Greg Egan or Vernor Vinge.

I also try to improve my skills in playing capoeira within the group Grupo Capoeira Brasil in Uppsala. My teacher (and friend) in the art of Capoeira and Brasilian culture is Fabio Santana (Bicudo).

I am also interseted in computers as such. I administer several GNU/Debian Linux machines. My latest project is about building myself a capable, quiet and low energy consumtion PVR (Personal Video Recorder).
